sharp localized pain in mid upper spine. happens at night for hours tried heat and pain killers and muscle relaxer nothing works?

Night pain: One of the hallmarks of a potential problem in a young patient is night time pain/awakening. Even such, benign causes are most common. Nonetheless, pain at night would prompt me to recommend x-rays/mri and i would suggest a spine physician see you.
