Somewhat: I'd go back or call the surgeon to voice my concern but day 3 is the height of swelling, day 4 is a good day for dry socket to set in. With the graft, dry socket is probably unlikely but i've seen it happen. If you don't feel better each day from here on you may want to drop by the office and have your doc take a peek. It is likely just fine, especially if the extraction was difficult.

Follow-up: Having pain can occur several days after an extraction and it can even be a bit more sore from having the bone graft. You could go back to the dentist for a follow-up.

Yes: Only four days following traumatic surgery, can still be painful , if you are following post operative instructions given to you by the dentist, it should clear very soon.

Call dentist : Very much pain is troubling. You should feel better today than you did after day 2. Call your dentist who can prescribe more pain meds and possibly steroids. In the meantime alternate ice and moist heat and make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids to help you heal.
