See a doctor.: If the pain is getting worse and is that bad there may be another problem like an infection. You should be evaluated.

See Rheumatologist: Rheumatoid arthritis is chronic systemic inflammatory disease, characterised by pain in swelling in joints. NSAIDS and Corticosteroids can be used in conjunction with other analgesics. The mainstay of management is with DMARDs and Biologic Therapies. Disease that is not quiescent with monotherapy may be considered for combination such as Rituximab + Methotrexate or Adalimumab + Etanercept.

Pain is not RA: When people have this type of pain you want to make certain how active the rheumatoid arthritis is If it is well-controlled my first consideration would be fibromyalgia. Ask your physician if this may be the reason for your pain. Your rheumatologist can answer this best
