Yes - tylenol (acetaminophen): Tylenol (acetaminophen) and advil are safe to take while breastfeeding, however this will only mask the underlying cause of the toothache which could be infection. I recommend visiting a dentist as soon as possible to determine the cause and solution for her toothache. Meanwhile however over the counter pain medicine will relieve her symptoms.

Yes and no: A non narcotic otc is best but the best advice is to have the tooth treated by a dentist.

In moderation: First ck w pediatrician, but tylenol (acetaminophen) should be safe in small amounts for only a short amount of time. Toothache usually means infection. It should be treated right away, before it becomes an acute problem. Otc meds will only mask symptoms as the infection spreads. So best rx is have the infection treated asap.
