I have had extreme tooth pain for about a week. ibuprofen wouldn't work for more than an hour. i have pain in my cheek bone, i can't eat and have swelling. what should i do?

Infection: Pain is your body's way of telling you that something is seriously wrong. You need to have the infection eliminated, not just masked with a pain killer. Ibuprofen will not cure infection. Please go see dentist now before you wind up in the er. This is serious.
