A member asked:

Small patches, roughly size of quarter, of my facial hair have fallen out and have not regrown in ~9months. what could cause this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hair loss: This is often due to alopecia areata. It is considered an immunological condition and often cane be treated. Best to read about it online and then make an appointment with a dermatologist. Fungus diseases can also cause hair loss but would usually have red skin and be itchy and scaly.
