Patchy Hairloss: If redness and itching at site it could be ringworm of the scalp. If not it could be a condition called alopecia areata which is thought to be autoimmune i.e. Your body is attacking the hairfollicles at this site for an uknown reason. Both of these conditions are treatable. Either way you should be evaluated by a dermatologist or your family physician.
