Leave it alone: There's nothing to suggest malignancy. Hair present actually speaks against an concern. Show the physician on the next visit. All pigmented lesions in kids do need to be checked; i'm glad you're monitoring it closely.

No Don't worry: All the pigmented moles need close monitoring . Hairy nevus has very low malignant transformation, especially on 6 yr old excision is advised mostly for cosmetic reason
