Ringworm: If she has a typical tinea corporis rash, you might try otc lotrimin or Lamisil (terbinafine) cream twice daily to see if it will help the fungal infection. Along with that, once-a-day/non-sedating anti-histamines like claritin, allegra, or zyrtec should help with the itching while the anti-fungals take care of the infection. Hydrocortisone cream may sooth the inflamed, irritated, itchy skin as well.
