Ask the doctor to: Measure the size of the nodule as a baseline & re-measure it a couple of times ~ a month apart. The doctor us saying it's a reactive lymph node from some inflammation nearby. Don't mess with it yourself. If that's what it is, it's a normal reaction that will take time to go away. If it enlarges rapidly, the doctor will look for other causes.
