Injury exercise: Exercise upper body. Do exercise that keeps the knee controlled, (or wrapped) and does not aggravate. You need to let it heal before stressing it, see a pt.

Yes: It depends on the ligament you injured. You must ask your treating doctor for guidance. You can obviously do upper body/core exercises while avoiding any exertion to the injured knee.
