"Remote"=: "OLD"... that is it has probably been present for a log time. The "locking" STRONGLY suggests a medial cartilage tear (eg Torn medical meniscus ,posterior horn": Hope this is helpful. CONSULT your ORTHOPEDIST. Hope this helps Dr Z
