Consider TOS: Thoracic outlet syndrome (tos) can present with concomitant neck & shoulder pain that has become chronic. Diagnosis is problematic due to lack of definitive tests. This circumstance has fostered controversy in medical community whether problem is even real. Concerned persons are advised to seek services of doctor known for interest & expertise with tos. Tos can include pinched nerves.
