Bad breath: If you have periodontal disease (gum disease), it cannot be cured with medications. The medications are only used in conjunction with active periodontal treatment. Bleeding and bad breath are symptoms of active disease. You need to see your periodontist.

Bad breath: All those drugs help control gum problems but they don't get rid of the cause please have your periodontist clean out the periodontal pockets you may have which is trapping food and rotting in there along with the waste given off by the plaque and bacteria in the gums once pockets are eliminated so will the bad breath disappear if the bad breath is caused by your gums.

Treat the cause: Antibiotics only an adjunct to treatment of a dental problem. You need professional treatment now.
