A member asked:

Does hydrocephalous cause pain and pressure in the eyes constantly, or could it b from uncontrolled htn or low thyroid levels?

Pain in hydroceph: Pain is not directly caused in the eyes by hydrocephalus but here is commonly referred pain from involvement of the sensory plexus in the skull and brain. If the pain is new, you should seek your neurosurgeon. Uncontrolled hypertension can cause its own unique pain in the head but again not in the eyes. Low thyroid usually supreses pain sensitivity.
