Drug interaction: Taking Lexapro (escitalopram) together with Meloxicam may increase the risk of bleeding. The interaction may be more likely if you are elderly or have kidney or liver disease. Please talk to your doctors before taking these medications together.

Cautious: It is not a definite contra indication to mix the two. It is more of a "proceed with caution". Discuss with your md to closely monitor for signs of spontaneous bleeding and adjust the doses of both medications accordingly.
