A member asked:

I have a tumor on my ankle by my tendon. the drs are going to sever the artery feeding it. what is the recovery of a severed ankle artery?

It depends,,,: There are no specific studies of the recovery of a particular artery, but given your age and the fact that this artery supplies your tumor and likely not the rest of your ankle, you shouldn't be affected and should make a full recovery. Best of luck.

Depends: It really terpenes on type or ice of tumor and which artery is involved some are fairly quick and some are prolonged. You surgeon should be able to let you know?
