What does ob us endovaginal less than 14 weeks mean?

Early pregnancy: I suspect that this is shorthand for an ultrasound on a pregnant women who is less than 14 weeks by dates. It is to be done both externally and with the ultrasound in the vagina to get the most accurate pictures and age of the developing fetus.
