Don't smoke: Smoke of all kinds is a potent trigger of inflammation in the respiratory tract. It will worsen asthma, allergies and sinus disease. Smoke will make you prone to infections because it paralyzes the cilia or microscopic hairs that help to clear infections from the lungs and sinuses. Smoke may also increase the likelihood of getting allergic to new things in the environment. Don't smoke!
