Definitions: Ovulation is the part of the menstrual cycle when the egg is released to be ready for fertilization by a sperm. The most fertile time is the time with the highest likelihood of pregnancy resulting from sexual intercourse. It covers the time from around 5 days before until 1–2 days after ovulation.
