"pea sized lump" : Developing a "pea sized lump" under the skin after certain injections & after having an abscess is not unusual. If there is no to minimal pain, warmth, redness, fever, not spreading, the abscess (acute infection) has most likely healed and within a few weeks it should be less reasonable. Sometimes an abscess has to get incised & drained. Follow-up with your doctor if concern for infection.
