Save your money: While some people really benefit from certain cosmetic proceedures, most of them just look like a 58 yr-old person who had her face stretched. Only now they have $10000 less for other things.

Depends: Depends on the extent of surgery and how much you bruise. You can wear your hair down and use heavier makeup to hide bruises, but there will still be some swelling. Many people are not that observant and will not notice anything!

Facelift recovery: It's always hard to give patients an exact time on when they will recover after a facelift. It varies, but in general ~80% of the bruising and swelling will be gone in 2 weeks and 90% at 3 weeks. Most patients can get by with makeup and hair styles which cover most of the areas after 2 weeks recovery.

It may be noticed: Hello! restrictions are typically placed on lifting and exercise for one week and work may be resumed after that. Bruising and swelling, as well as pink incisions, may be noticeable for 3-6 weeks depending on how your body heals, so you should be prepared. Makeup and a new hair color can disguise this well, though! good luck, and discuss with your surgeon!

It might be seen: You're right - it's a concern. At two weeks out, you still might have some swelling, a little bruising, and your incisions will still be fresh. So, observant people might notice... I usually tell patients that its about 3-4 weeks before they should make a big public appearance after a facelift.

Facelift Recovery : Recovery time from a facelift varies for each person, but you can usually expect to be presentable within three weeks from surgery. You should expect swelling, bruising, and discoloration of the skin during this phase of recovery . The marks from a facelift are noticeable at first, but are easily hidden with a bit of “camouflage” make-up which our experts can teach you to do.

Facelift healing: If you choose the right surgeon with talent and experience you should look great in two weeks and be able to go back to work without the surgery being noticed.

2 weeks usually ok: It's impossible to say with 100% certainty but typically by ten days people look good following a facelift. Incisions will need to be camouflaged with makeup and you will definitely still have some swelling but most are comfortable returning to work.

Facelift healing: In order to optimize healing, you need to follow your surgeon's pre and postoperative instructions. This includes medicines and supplements to avoid to prevent bleeding, avoidance of smoking and alcohol and refraining from excessive activity after surgery.
