Should be ok: Look for the one without alcohol or another brand without alcohol. But it is harder to find. Congratulations , and use the total care, but limit to twice a day.

Mouthwash: You do not want to use any mouthwashes that have alcohol in them. Most Listerine products have 23-25% alcohol ( equivalent to a 50 proof drink). The non-alcoholic Listerine is categorized as a cosmetic product and not a therapeutic so it does not do or add anything to regular brushing and flossing.

Not recommended: If you are a nursing mother, consult your dentist before undergoing a whitening treatment or using Listerine total care with whitening. FDA has not evaluated whether this product complies.
