No : In order to whiten teeth, the whitening agent (gel, strip, tray, etc.) has to remain on your teeth generally for 15 minutes to a few hours. This allows the whitening agent to be absorbed into the tooth, and the whitening process to take place. Unfortunately, swishing a mouth wash for 30 seconds (or even a minute) does not allow near enough time for this to take place.
