Difficult to say: Have you had trauma to mouth area? If not it could be wisdom teeth every prong causing slight movement that affects your bite. You also might be grinding at night and have altered the normal bite with wear. See your dentist for x-ray eval, eval for grinding & possible minor bite adjustment.

Before what ?: Your post is not clear. Did you recently have dental treatment? Do you have new fillings or crowns? If so, see your dentist.

Any trauma?: Have you had any trauma to you face or jaw? Usually slippery food does not give this kind of problem. Does it feel like your bite has changed when you close with no food in your mouth? Is your pain in your teeth, jaw or joint? What has changed?
