A member asked:

Are yellow bowel movements anything to be worried about if they only happen every now and again? can this be the result of fast bowel transit time?

See a doctor: This can happen with some liver conditions. I would see a doctor.

Fast transit in gut: Yellow stool can be the result of overly rapid transit of stool through the colon, insufficient bile salts or infection. It can be seen in people w gastroesophageal reflux disease as well.
