My 2 year old son has has loose bowel movements for 3 days it is powel yellow but every so often it's like slime with bits of brown and yellow bits ?

Virus?: One of the main concerns with diarrhea in small children is dehydration. It sounds like he might have a viral gastroenteritis causing his symptoms. It will get better on its own. You just have to make sure he drinks plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration. If he starts vomiting a lot, complains of abdominal pain, gets high fever, he should be seen by his doc. If diarrhea gets worse, also call.

Diarrhea: Your son maybe suffering from an intestinal infection or food intolerance. Make sure he drinks a lot of fluids (pedialyte preferably) water or broth but no juice.
