Various symptoms: Many individuals may develop a flu-like illness called acute HIV infection with the most common symptoms being fever, enlarged lymph nodes, sore throat, rash, muscle aches, malaise, mouth and esophageal sores, and may also include, but less commonly, headache, nausea and vomiting, weight loss. However, some people do not develop any symptoms and may remain asymptomatic until they develop aids.
