Depends…: Depending on how you define “healing time” your answer will vary. For example, most patients are able to return to work in about 2 weeks, depending on the type of work. Most patients resume full activity within 2 months. On the other hand, incision line healing will continue ( and generally scars improved in appearance) over the course of one to 2 years. It is staged : Many people spend one night in the hospital after surgery. They usually feel pretty good in a couple of days. Drains if your doctor uses them come out in 5to7 days. Many people are back to work in a week or two. Full physical activity is usually in about 6 weeks.

Hello. While you should avoid strenuous activities for the first 4-6 weeks, you can already resume driving after a week and go back to your desk job two weeks following your procedure. The final results of the surgery will take shape between 6-12 weeks where you can expect a 70-80% decrease in swelling. It may take six months to a year for all swelling to subside.
