Many choices: If the baby tooth is healthy, you may want to keep it, especially if there is no underlying permanent tooth. If problematic, you dentist can remove the tooth, but if so the tooth must be replaced or other teeth will tip an drift. Think of what happens to a barrel if you remove just one stave.
