Agree w Dr. Krauser: Dicyclomine(Bentyl) Is an anticholinergic antispasmodic medication. It reduces smooth muscle spasm in treatment of irritable bowel syndrome. This is usually a long term disorder and bentyl (dicyclomine) may be used long-term for this purpose.
