I wouldn't use it: If treating a fever the more important question is what is causing it, and how uncomfortable is the child. If the child has an uncomplicated viral infection we are focused on treating comfort. Aconite is a toxin, which means either it is bad for the child's health, or it means that it is homeopathic dose and there isn't any aconite left in preparation. I would recommend Acetaminophen if needed.

Never: Aconite is a poison and not be taken by anyone there are some possible good effects but not enough to be given to anyone most herbal poison deaths in hong gong where it is taken more frequently are caused by aconite or its derivatives if a 2 yr old has a fever over 101 and is uncomfortable he may be given tylenol (acetaminophen) 160mg or Motrin 100 mg for the fever otherwise if comfortable nothing.

Aconite & fever: I assume you're speaking of homeopathic aconite, and not the raw herb (which would be poisonous, whereas the homeopathic remedy is not). First, not every fever needs to be treated, and you also need to be sure what the fever is from. For instance if the fever is from meningitis, the child need antibiotics. When used for viral uri-related fevers, a 30c potency could be used every couple of hours.
