A member asked:

What is the most difficult thing to overcome when quitting smoking?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nicotine dependance: Depending on how long and how much you have been smoking the most difficult thing is drug dependance on nicotine in my experience which can be overcome by cutting slowly over time or by substituting nicotine gum or patch etc.
