Experience counts: Some cysts can be injected with kenalog (triamcinolone) (steroid) while others may need incision or drainage, and some may need surgical excision. If it's not treated correctly it can leave a bad scar or even make the cyst worse or infected. Make sure the practitioner you see has a lot of experience treating cysts.
