Scapulothoracic pain: This is when you have an irritation between the scapula and the rib cage creating a bursitis in this region. This is treated by a formal therapy program focusing on strengthening the scapula thoracic musculature, ant-inflammatories, and/or an injection at this site. If the pain radiates down your arm or is associated with tingling then it might be neurologic and you might need a neuro evaluation.
