A member asked:

Can there be another term for calciumized heart?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No name that I know: The coronary arteries, the aortic valve and the ascending aorta get calcium deposits in combination with cholesterol plague formation as we get older. Why more in some patients than other is multifactorial. Few patients will have more calcium deposits than other. There is a genetic predisposition and a very controversial issue with calcium supplements and high intake. Xia from nih and the uspstf.
