Not always : Depend on how severe is the pancreatitis. Mild to moderate inflammation associated with pain will increase hr and BP too. During severe attack of pancreatitis a systemic inflammatory response occur, causing a hyperdynamic response in your body. That will decrease your BP and increase your hr and increase your cardiac output.
