Depends: Some people have special cancer insurance policies that pay extra if the policyholder is diagnosed with cancer. There are also many organizations that make small grants and provide other support to patients who are facing cancer and have financial hardships. Speak with your doc and see if s/he can refer you to a local resource such as the acs, wellness community, or social worker. Good luck!
