Specializes in Thoracic Surgery

Team: Lung cancer is best treated with a multi-disciplinary team. The key players would be thoracic surgeon, medical oncologist, radiation oncologist, and primary care physician (pcp). You may or may not have a pulmonologist for lung function assessment and cardiologist for heart function assessment. The coordination of overall care may be assisted by a nurse navigator and/or social worker.
