Possibly: This is the era of managed care. The length of appointments is often dictated to a physician. Once a physician gets behind in seeing patients, it can cause a trickle down effect. If you have a number of medical issues you could consider calling ahead & requesting to book a longer appointment. I know many doctors who would like to spend more time with their patients.
