What should i expect after a crohn's ressection surgery?

Difficult problem: Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis are both difficult. The surgical procedures are many and are used when medical therapy is failing. So if you having a surgical resection for bowel stenosis, your expectation will be different than if you are having emergency surgery for a bowel perforation. Okay to ask your GI doc and your surgeon about your specific case. Neither disease is curable.
