Bizarre?: I don't know about bizarre, but medicines like Xalatan (prostaglandin analogues) can cause thickening and lengthening of eyelashes, as well as darkening of the eyelid skin and iris. Latisse (bimatoprost) (a topical prostaglandin analogue) was developed because of the eyelash growth seen with the eyedrops!
