Within 5-7 yrs: Realizing that Ca's have suboptimal levels of immunogenic protein is first step. We are identifying the structure of these proteins to use as vaccines and the monoclonals to attack the metastatic tumor. Additionally IL-15 will enhance the mAb ADCC, small e-cadherins will be isolated and mAbs used to destroy them and a newer approach targeting the mutated mitochondrial DNA will be added.

Naive question: "Cancer" is not 1 disease. There are hundreds of cancers just as there are hundreds of infections or hundreds of injuries or hundreds of birth defects. Most cancers are cured right now. Each type of cancer has its own behavior and its own prognosis and its own bag of treatments.
