This situation: can probably not be "CURED" but it CERTAINLY CAN BE TREATED! A consultation with an ONCOLOGIST (Cancer Specialist) is necessary!

No cure: An oncologist can manage it and the initial response to chemotherapy is almost always good. Do not expect a cure, and when it recurs be ready to set life in order Nd go to hospice. Some people Find some meaning in encouraging others not to take up smoking. Be grave and best wishes.
