Colgate Orabase: With Benzocaine will "numb" the area and protect it too. Apply with a clean finger or q-tip. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. If you get canker sores frequently, try using a toothpaste without sodium lauryl sulfate (sls) such as fluoridex without sls. See your dentist too
