Orthostasis: A sudden darkening of vision, known as a transient obscuration of vision (tvo) is most likely a symptom of orthostatic hypotension, or postural low blood pressure. Since you have some hearing loss as well, the first area to investigate is the vertebrobasilar arterial system of the brain, so a visit to the neurologist is recommended.
