What can the doctors do to you during a sports physical exam?

Comprehensive: Generally the sports phy will include a history and review of medications etc to ensure no contraindications to sports participation. The exam will focus on a heart, lung. Neurological and musculoskeletal exam as well as hernia check. An ekg may be done depending on sports governing body or cardiac risk factors. Finally i counsel on nutrition and injury prevention.
