A member asked:

My doctors said i have exercise induced asthma i take it before sports but im still not able to breath get chest pain during sports how do i ease this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See your doctor: The inhaler that you use before sports may be preventing the tightness in your bronchial tubes (asthma) but it will not stop other causes of chest pain. If you are trying so hard that you are breathing way deeper than normal, you may be just over stretching the area where your ribs join the breastbone. Less likely is that there is something with your heart or you need stronger asthma medicine.
