See your doctor: The inhaler that you use before sports may be preventing the tightness in your bronchial tubes (asthma) but it will not stop other causes of chest pain. If you are trying so hard that you are breathing way deeper than normal, you may be just over stretching the area where your ribs join the breastbone. Less likely is that there is something with your heart or you need stronger asthma medicine.
