A member asked:

What are the common screening tests for the diagnosis of cancers?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many: It depends on your age and gender. At age 40 women should get pap tests for cervical cancer and consider mammograms for breast cancer. There are no proven routine cancer screening tests for men at that age. Sometimes other tests are recommended if high risk. For a complete list of proven screening tests, vaccines and other ways to stay healthy, check out the Prevention Checklist iPhone/iPad app.
