A member asked:

How can a person be tested to see if they have adhd?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

"TESTING" ISN'T IT.: The diagnosis is made from history, observation of behavior (at home and school or work) and observation of the patient by the doctor. Proper diagnosis takes into account many aspects of life even if some testing reflects problems in attention.
